!1: Best Buy I enjoy using this bathtub for my daughter; the sling was great when she was a newborn and now she fits well in the infant side. I like the area for fresh water, shampoo bottles, or toys. The only detracting feature is the plug, since it leaks. That means the tub has to be very specifically balanced over our large kitchen sink, or it leaks all over the counter. (A surprising lesson to learn. ha) I'd recommend this for parents who have back problems and don't do well leaning over a regular bathtub. on Sale!

±1±: Best Buy Started using this tub when my son was a week old. Found the sling to be easy to use and very safe. He stayed put in the sling (of course I didn't let him out of arms reach for safety) and I felt very comfortable giving him a bath. And just as important - he felt safe and got to like his bathtime. There's enough room on either side of the sling to dip a washcloth and gently pour some water over his tummy - which felt nice for him. Tub is easy to empty and clean. The sling is connected with 4 clips = 2 on either end. Very easy to remove and wash the sling in the washing machine.
When he got big enough, I removed the sling and put him in the main toddler tub. He was about 3 1/2 months old - over 14 lbs and not able to sit up on his own w/o support. But the sling was just too small for him. At first the toddler tub worked and I just had to hold him upright. But now at just over 4 months he's found that kicking in the bath is fun. As soon as he lifts his leg to kick, his butt slides over the little ridge designed to keep him sitting upright. At that point the ridge is digging into his back and his head is almost in the water. I can easily push him back upright again, but he'll slide down within seconds as he wiggles his legs.
So - a great tub but certainly won't take me through the toddler period as I'd hoped. I saw a cute picture from another user of a baby boy sitting upright (clearly w/o support) in the tub and not leaning against the padded back of the tub. That looks like it would work - as long as baby doesn't try to lean back and then wiggle. Would still buy it again even knowing that it only took me through the first 3 months. And for now I'll have to sit with him in the big tub until he can sit on his own without support. on Sale!

±1±: Best Buy Great tub for the money. Plastic is sturdy, no toxic plastic smell, no sharp edges. The "hammock" is a great feature for floppy newborns. It allowed our newborn to experience warm water in the tub which he really enjoyed (compared to sponge baths). Once he was less floppy, we put him on the newborn side without the hammock and then transitioned him to the "big boy" side. He was able to sit on the "infant/toddler" side even before he could sit up on his own. At about 5 months, he was too big for the infant/toddler side. (He has always been 25th perc weight and height). This tub also fit perfectly in our sink and could be easily stored away in our kitchen closet when not in use. We replaced this tub with the Primo Euro tub which. as a 13 month old, he is still using. I would recommend this as a newborn tub. If you want a tub that can serve as a newborn and true toddler tub, buy the Primo and use a sponge pad on the newborn side. You will not be able to wash a toddler in this tub. I am convinced, however, that there is no such thing as a "newborn/infant/toddler tub" that will fit your baby at each stage and that you will end up buying at least one tub as your baby grows. on Sale!
